Enterprise-Level Systems Administrator - Epic / Cache

This position will provide enterprise-level system administration for a large Epic implementation.  The ideal candidate will have several years? experience supporting Epic and Cache in a mixed Solaris and Windows environment with Netapp storage.  He or she should be thoroughly experienced in supporting highly available clusters running multiple Epic instances.The ideal candidate will have experience with configuration and management of servers from the ground up, performance and tuning, fault analysis, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, Veritas Cluster Server, RedAlert, Unix print services, shell scripting, FCP, Netapp?s Snapdrive and Snapmirror, Epic Print Services, MyChart, Interconnect, Surescripts, Clarity, and Epic Shadow.The position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of mission-critical services deployed using the above solutions.The position requires excellent skills in the area of planning, installation, configuration, analysis, troubleshooting, proactive problem management, monitoring, backup, recovery, capacity management, performance management, and preventive maintenance of Solaris and Windows systems supporting a large Epic environment.  The position also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in teams.  Specific Job Related Duties: ·         Maintaining 99.999% availability of Epic systems and ensuring optimum performance.·         Installing, configuring, and maintaining multiple Solaris and Windows systems in an enterprise environment.·         Configuring and maintaining multiple Epic and Cache instances and environments·         Configuring and maintaining performance metrics and monitoring routines.·         Disaster recovery and business continuity planning, implementation, and documentation.
