HIT Project Coordinator21 March 2011, 7:01 pmSonoma Valley Community Health Center seeking a HIT Project Coordinator to join our team and provide project planning, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing support for our new practice management and its integrated electronic health record program. This includes a patient portal, e-prescribing and external exchanges. We are especially interested in someone with NextGen experience.This position ensures maximum access to, and implementation of, the technology and resources and provides daily technical assistance to staff and training when necessary. Provides assistance with the set-up of data reports, such as UDS and OSHPD reports, and works collaboratively with maintenance vendors and reports concerns on a timely basis.Candidates must have a minimum 3 years of experience providing technical support on software issues in a health care setting as well as a familiarity with CCHIT interoperable health information technology efforts and expertise with health information exchanges and patient-centric technology services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills required as well as a Bachelor?s degree, preferably with a major in computer science.
