Benefits administration, including open enrollment, new hire and qualifying event updates? Assist with employee on-boarding and off-boarding by updating various company databases ? Add new records and manage employee requests in HRIS system? Creation of various ad hoc and monthly reports within various databases and Excel? Carries out the duty of conducting employee recognition activities and events like service honors and performance awards? Develop internal communication strategies and processes to keep projects, programs and/or departments informed on critical issues, policies and procedures? Provide advice, assistance and follow up on company policies, procedures, programs and documentation.? Assist in recording, reporting and processing workplace injuries, FMLA and Disability leaves. Provide assistance and follow-up with the injured employee and insurance carrier. Coordination of light duty assignments.? Assist with planning and coordinating the personnel and training activities of company? Assist with auditing internal HR practices? Maintain all employment/recruitment files ensuring appropriate documentation in each and appropriate retention periods ? Close job files, ensuring all EEO information has been properly maintained ? Respond to inquiries for employment verification? Data entry and filing? Serving as backup for receptionistOrientation and On-boarding? Responsible for welcoming and on-boarding new hires to the organization through activities such as: pre-start information, new hire packets, and orientation setup, travel, coordination of mentor? Deliver Administration and Benefits session of Orientation Program? Meet with all new hires prior to first day (or upon day one) for new hire paperwork completion, benefits enrollment and office tour. Input all new hires into HRIS system and submit forms to payroll.? Set up new hire files (Employee and Medical) and file in appropriate area? HRIS data entry and reporting? Coordinating trainers and training rooms? Daily set-up and catering arrangementsRecruitment? Conduct reference checks and background checks and drug screens for new hire candidates? Serve as a back-up scheduler, which can include coordinating phone Skype and face to face interview schedules, booking travel arrangements for candidates, and administering Predictive Index Assessments? Ensure new hire notifications are submitted for IT request, building badge, supplies, office space, etc.Other duties may be assigned.Must possess knowledge of federal and state employment law as well as a basic understanding of human resources principles, programs and practices. A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments.
