NextGen Project Manager (2 opportunities)

Manage and/or participate in the implementation of the NextGen® EMR system at multiple practice sites.- Own, manage and/or participate in detailed project plans for each assigned EMR implementation.- Analyze business and clinical requirements at implementation sites, and document the current and future workflow processes.- Configure the system for the practice.- Troubleshoot and work to resolve NextGen EMR system-related issues that are reported or detected during a practice site implementation.- Generate status and other types of reports relating to the EMR implementation.- Serve as a liaison between physician practices and other IT Team members.- Utilize a quality assurance planning approach for all phases of work.MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCENote: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.- NextGen EMR & ICS certification preferred.- College degree preferred- Three or more years of direct hands-on experience in an area of healthcare clinical operations required. - Experience working with ambulatory provider practices highly desirable.- Previous EMR and/or practice management systems experience highly desirable.- Demonstrated knowledge of workflow analysis and redesign.- Knowledge of PC hardware, application software, MS Project, and basic telecommunications technology desirable.
