Hello,

It is really good to see such a forum and noting your focus I champion the following conceptual model introduced through a website and blog "Welcome to the QUAD":

http://hodges-model.blogspot.com/

Originally created in the UK by Brian E Hodges (Ret.) at Manchester Metropolitan University - Hodges' Health Career - Care Domains - Model [h2cm]

http://www.p-jones.demon.co.uk/

- can help map health, social care and OTHER issues, problems and solutions. The model takes a situated and multi-contextual view across four knowledge domains:

* Interpersonal;
* Sociological;
* Empirical;
* Political.

Our links pages cover each care (knowledge) domain e.g. POLITICAL:

http://www.p-jones.demon.co.uk/linksIV.htm

SCIENCES:

http://www.p-jones.demon.co.uk/linksTwo.htm

The blog includes a bibliography and growing archive of posts. I would be pleased to help people apply / write about the model and indeed perhaps I could mention your work / feature a post by a member of this community on my blog? In Feb. the model was presented in Colombia at a nursing theory conference and in London - reflective practice. A poster on how the model can support health literacy will be presented in June.

Best regards,

Peter Jones

Hello,
Appropriate management information derived from MED Analytic Models and MED Intelligence to support medical decisions and track short and long-term patient outcomes. This information, received by providers and connected medical devices, provides the basis for rich patient knowledge management resources.

The model incorporates two axes: individual-group and humanistic-group and four care (knowledge) domains  8)
