I want the EMR to be customizable to my practice, not me changing everything for the EMR.  What can we do about that?  Are there EMRs that are highly customizable that we should look at?

I suggest that you find a software company that offers a free trial of their EMR solution before purchasing software that will need to be adopted to your needs. 
If you decide to go ahead with the customization of your existing solution, please provide a contact.
