How are others experiencing career opportunities at your respective healthcare organizations. We recently had our new CEO state that diversity is one of our organizations top priorities. He even appointed a new MD to oversee this. However, after a major revamp of our Division level IT managers (level 3 managers) . We now have 15 white, anglosaxons males. Many of the women have advanced degrees but are not getting the advancement. The reasons given for not getting the advancement are always unmeasurable items like not strategic enough, not visible enough, haven't had board enough experience. Is this occurring elsewhere or only in the midwest?
